“Teddy Bear No Match For DC Snow”

(stuffed animal abuse?! the only child side of me that was exclusively friends with stuffed creatures for a time, has some trouble watching this)

I woke up this morning with a bad hair cut, a rash on the left side of my face and a box of girl scout cookies next to my bed. You could say that I woke up feeling like Liz Lemon…

Well I guess no one on the internet fucking likes salad, so here’s some pug bread. I didn’t make it, no idea who to credit this to, but I’m definitely gonna replace the broccoli with pugs now.

this is either the best or most terrifying thing i’ve ever seen.

In honor of the Saints’ first Super Bowl win…

Louis Armstrong leads an all-star cast of jazz musicians (33 in all), including such legends as Woody Herman, Bill Harris, Al Cohn, Paul Qunichette, Zoot Sims, Nat Pierce, Chubby Jackson, Trummy Young, Edmond Hall, Paul Desmond, Dave Brubeck, Charlie Ventura, Gene Krupa, Cozy Cole, Bobby Hackett, Jack Teagarden in “When the Saints Go Marching In” for the finale of the first Timex All Star Jazz Show in 1957.

I found this video and information here. It’s a great website in general and this post gives a complete history of Louis Armstrong’s special association with “When the Saints Go Marching In,” starting with his original 1938 recording, which was the first to make the song famous.

I saw the Alonzo King LINES Ballet at the WUT last night. It was FANTASTIC.
We were counting muscles in the dancers legs all the way up in the balcony.
