Oh for fuck’s sake Sen. Kyl. That has to be one of the worst examples of “unnecessary benefits” you could possibly bring up. The maternity benefits are paid from the pooled resources of all in the policy. I don’t think women need prostate exams, so maybe they shouldn’t have to pay for those on their policy and we can all have personal sex-segregated policies because that wouldn’t raise cost or anything.
